This event was attended by health sciences librarians participating in the National Networks of Libraries of Medicine Middle Atlantic Region Data Management Pilot Project, as well as others that enrolled in an online course provided by the National Library of Medicine (NLM). The purpose of this event was to facilitate the sharing of knowledge about how librarians can effectively launch research data management services at their home institutions. Highlights of the event included a presentation by Patti Brennan, Director of the NLM on the NLM Strategic Plan, pilot project presentations and discussion of the online participants’ capstone projects.
