SBU Librarians, Faculty Featured at Museum Event

"The Beginning of Video Games", a special event at the Museum of the Moving Image on Saturday, October 1, features Cultural Studies professor Raiford Guins, University Archivist and Head of Special Collections Kristen Nyitray, and Librarian Helene Volat.

The program will include the first public demonstration outside of Brookhaven National Laboratory of William A. Higinbotham's seminal analog computer game Tennis For Two.

The event is co-organized by the Museum of the Moving Image and the William A Higinbotham Game Studies Collection at Stony Brook University.
